Last year my wife and I traveled to the Land of Fire & Ice. Here are a few of the highlights including seeing the northern lights, going snowmobiling on a glacier, sleeping in a bubble, and trekking through A LOT of snow.
The only real bad thing about the country is the constant smell of sulfur. Our little place for the week and the road leading to it.I would highly recommend visiting Vik. It’s the shortest name to pronounce and it was by far our favorite place we visited. The Yoda CaveThis airplane has become quite the tourist spot- thanks to that Bieber guy.If anyone is thinking about visiting Iceland, I would highly recommend it! It is absolutely stunning and flying there is relatively inexpensive. The food scene wasn’t anything special but there is a hot dog stand in the middle Reykjavik that was to die for. Well, at least I thought so- Jacki, not so much.
Our whole trip was planned by the travel geniuses at Travel Simplicity. If you need any help planning a future getaway, they make traveling super easy (especially internationally).
